Compare Bids

The Bid Comparison experience is where you can view, analyze, and evaluate all supplier responses in a centralized, side-by-side view. This powerful tool allows you to compare bids across different modules, including Line Items, Worksheets, and Questionnaires, giving you a holistic view of each supplier's offering.

Accessing the Bid Comparison View

Once an event has been open and you have received any number of responses from your suppliers, you can access the bid comparison view by navigating to the Compare Bids tab within the event.

Side-by-Side Comparison

The core of the bid comparison experience is the side-by-side view, which allows you to compare supplier responses for each field in your event. This makes it easy to see how suppliers stack up against each other on price, technical specifications, and other criteria.

• Compare Across Modules: You can seamlessly switch between comparing responses for Line Items, Worksheets, and Questionnaires, all within the same interface.

• Hide and Show Fields: To help you focus on the information that matters most, you can hide and show individual fields or entire sections of the comparison view.

Filtering and Sorting

To help you further refine your analysis, the bid comparison view includes robust filtering and sorting capabilities. You can sort suppliers by their responses to specific fields, such as price or lead time, and filter the view to only show suppliers that meet certain criteria.Note: Detailed filtering and sorting capabilities are continuously being enhanced. Check the latest release notes for the most up-to-date information.

Scoring and Evaluation

While the full scoring and evaluation module is coming soon, the bid comparison view provides the foundation for your evaluation process. You can use the side-by-side comparison to manually score suppliers based on your own criteria, and the upcoming scoring module will allow you to formalize this process within the platform.

Exporting Comparison Data

The ability to export the bid comparison data to a spreadsheet is coming soon. This will allow you to conduct further analysis offline and share the results with stakeholders who may not have access to the Fairmarkit platform.

AI-Powered Scenario Analysis

The bid comparison experience is where you will interact with the AI-powered scenario analysis agent. As soon as you start receiving responses, you can begin to ask the agent questions about the data, run different weighting scenarios, and get insights into supplier rankings and scoring.
